Board of directors

The parados is administered by a board of directors made up of nine administrators. The council exercises the rights of the legal entity and all the powers necessary for its organization, administration and development. The election of members of the board of directors is done during the annual general meeting of members by all voting members.

President

Andréanne Samsan

Andréanne has acquired solid experience in social intervention, particularly thanks to her experience in the prison environment. Her studies in criminology made her aware of the challenges of incarcerated women and strengthened her interest in feminist studies. Dynamic and organized, she invested in improving the working conditions of her peers and held various positions within regional and national executives, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to social justice. Today, as Subscription Coordinator for the FTQ Solidarity FUND, she continues her quest for new challenges with determination.

Treasurer

Marie-Andrée

Provençal

Marie-Andrée, CPA and expert in corporate finance, has more than 17 years of experience in the construction sector. Currently, she holds the position of Director, Governance and Strategy at Pomerleau. She is recognized for her influence, her excellent communication skills, her rigor and her ability to lead different projects and initiatives simultaneously. She is fully committed to making a significant contribution by exercising positive and sustainable leadership to achieve strategic and operational objectives. Since June 2019, she has held the position of treasurer at Parados.

Administrator

France Brisebois

France holds a bachelor's degree in law and a diploma in notarial law, as well as a bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate business option. She has been practicing as a notary for twelve years. She also has to her credit many years of diversified experience in the field of municipal real estate evaluation, notably having held the positions of executive manager and real estate evaluator in the Evaluation Service of the Urban Community of Montreal ( now City of Montreal).

Katiana Dorvilus

Katiana, elected in 2023 as a community representative on the council, serves as clinical services coordinator at Cumulus, a substance abuse prevention organization. With a certificate in substance abuse prevention and treatment as well as a certificate in operations management and supervision, she supervises and coordinates the organization's clinical services. Her community expertise and mastery of the intersectional feminist approach are valuable assets for our organization.

Administrator

Krystina Abboud

Krystina is the President and Founder of Squalls, a marketing consultant specializing in ESG strategy and practices, and a speaker. She has strong skills in strategic planning, project management and corporate social responsibility. Involved in women's entrepreneurship, she is president of the Montreal-West region of the Quebec Business Women's Network (RFAQ) and ambassador of the Quebec Business Women's Prize (PFAQ). Of Lebanese origin, she actively advocates for women's rights, supports the mission of Parados and uses her marketing expertise to promote and raise funds for women's causes.

Laura Dauphin

Laura holds a degree in chemical engineering as well as a master's degree in environment from Polytechnique de Montréal. As part of her profession, she was able to develop a large number of technical skills in addition to demonstrating strategic involvement ensuring the proper execution of her specialized engineering projects. His proactivity, his spirit of initiative and his leadership allowed him to successfully complete the mandates entrusted to him. Her mother was involved in the Parados Board of Directors for 6 years, and it was with great enthusiasm that Laura joined in 2020.​

Secretary

Caroline Morin

Caroline has worked in the field of financial services since 2013. She obtained her BAA Finance Profile from HEC in 2013 and her Financial Planner title in 2015. She independently manages her own clientele in a firm in Lachine. She has also been responsible for administering the Parados RRSP program since 2014, so she has been familiar with the organization's mission since that time. Her mother was involved in the Parados Board of Directors for 6 years, and it was with great enthusiasm that Caroline joined in 2019.

Lory Roberge

Lory, elected to the council in June 2023, stands out for her commitment to the philanthropic field. Before occupying her current position as digital and print project coordinator at the Fondation Sainte-Justine, she contributed as an advisor to annual campaigns at Leucan. With a bachelor's degree in political communications, she brings valuable expertise to the board of directors.

Fannie Doyon

Fanny holds a bachelor's degree in cinema studies, and is passionate about the arts, fashion and communications. His dynamism and ability to adapt allow him to shine in communication, advertising and events. Committed to women's rights, she created a blog and launched Les Petites Manches to promote the visibility of women and raise funds for homeless women. Currently a marketing team leader at Quebecor, she uses her media network to increase the visibility of her clients and aspires to raise awareness and help women victims of domestic violence.
